In addition, we learned that Talia Al Ghul is making an appearance. That’s correct – Batman’s one-time love interest and Damian’s mom is entering the fray. In what capacity, we’re not sure of though. Stana Katic from Castle is set to supply the voice.

SDCC 2011 : Green Lantern Animated Series Clip Revealed

Thursday, July 21st, 2011

Give credit to DC and Warner Brothers where it’s due – despite the average depictions of its Green Lantern books and live-action movie as of late, they’re summoning enough willpower to go ahead with the animated series on Cartoon Network scheduled to debut in November. This clip was just released at Comic Con:

I’m not sure I dig the CG style of the animation yet, but the voice acting is convincing for what we’ve seen. The true test will be building the mythology, which can be done well provided both Cartoon Network and Warner Brothers give it a good run.

SDCC 2011 : Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

An ultimate version of the beat-em’ up with 12 new characters, new stages, and a re-balanced game? Sure, why the heck not?

The game’s being released on November 15th at a $39.99 price – the same strategy Capcom employed when they released Super Street Fighter IV earlier this year. For the current holders of the original game, I feel your pain – makes you wonder why you bought it in the first place if Capcom is doing this. Nevertheless, I’ll get my first taste of the game and I only have two words for you – Rocket Raccoon. Thank you and have a nice day.
