How sweet is this cover?

Image From IGN Comics

Feast your eyes on Black Lantern Earth-2 Superman.  Looks like he’s resurrecting Earth-1′s pa.  One can only wonder what character might object to this.  Elongated Man, perhaps?

Thanks to IGN for the scoop.

It's a great cover, but as much as I'm looking forward to BN, I can't help but feel that they shouldn't be using Superman, even pre-Crisis Earth-2 Superman, in this way. I didn't like how he was handled in Infinite Crisis, either. Some characters, I think, should be left alone – and the Golden Age Superman is on that list. They should have left him and Lois alone after CoIE.

He was kind of bland in Infinite Crisis, I’ll admit that. But a writer of Geoff Johns’ talent is somebody I believe can make his character a lot more interesting (even as a zombie :) ). We’ll see how this plays out – we might be surprised.
