I don’t know about you, but I like lists. Makes for good lunch debates.

IGN recently completed its list of top 100 comic book villains for all to excite over and bash. Feel free to comment about it here. I think it’s a fair list, though I wonder why Howard the Duck is not on it. Wait, he’s a hero? I though the beak made him look menacing.

Doc Oc at 28 and the Penguin at 51??? Rhaz Al Gul only got an infamy due to the batman begins movie while the penguin has been a classic in Batman lore. Did they actually weight these villians or just pull them from a hat. Mr Sinister ranking then one of the greatest batman villians of all time and the Green Goblin 1 landing behind Galactus? Do they take us for fools?

BTW, I grew up an Xman fan and the joker surpassses Magneto any day of the week.
  • That's why I love lists, they're never what you want them to be and they immediately start debates. I disagree about Rhaz Al Gul, he was bad ass way before BatBale. I don't think it's about how old the villain is, but what damage they do. You also need to way things like Green Goblin messing with Spider-Man vs Galactus eating the whole freaking planet. As far as popularity goes, Joker should be number one.

    Mr Sinister is X-Men.
  • Holy poop Batman! There is a huge spoiler in number 91 for me! I haven't read up to that in Fables to know the identity of the Adversary dang it!
